The New Barnet Amateur Gardeners and Floral Art Society was formed in 1897 and is for people who love plants - either for the pleasure of seeing flowers and vegetables grow or for the delight in creating an attractive floral display.
​
The Society meets on the second Tuesday of each month at St John's Church Hall, Mowbray Road, New Barnet, EN5 1RH starting at 7.30 pm. Click to see map.

Each year we hold :-
Five talks on gardening and garden related topics
Five floral art demonstrations
A quiz night
A members social evening
The evening includes refreshments and a chance to buy plants grown by our members for a donation to charity.

The Society also holds a Spring and Autumn Show which are also held at St John's Church Hall (as above). Click to see map.

The shows are open between 2pm and 4pm and apart from the entries, tea and home made cakes are available as well as a plant stall

The Society also runs occasional outings to local gardens of interest.

Members are also entitled to a 10% discount on plants purchased at Finchley Nurseries, Burton Hole Lane, Mill Hill, NW7 1AS.
The Society is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS).
